Biography

Chris Robinson is Senior Vice President of Operations at Rapid Micro Biosystems, responsible for manufacturing, supply chain, and quality. With more than 25 years of leadership experience across the medical device, diagnostics, and life sciences sectors, he has successfully built and transformed operations organizations to support growth, improve performance, and ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance. 

Prior to joining Rapid Micro Biosystems, Mr. Robinson held senior operations leadership roles at Nova Biomedical, Allurion Technologies, Candela Medical, and Fresenius Medical Care, where he led complex global manufacturing networks and supply chain organizations serving worldwide markets. 

Mr. Robinson holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Industrial and Industrial & Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
